Budget Pocket Garden

In a narrow, dark space behind a rental unit, an herbal friend wanted to create a small oasis. We created a place for shade-loving vies to grow on the concrete cinderblocks and above the fencing to block views of the neighbors. Moss, Euonymus, and shade-tolerant grasses combine with Solomon’s Seal and ferns in the fence bed to frame the tiny floating deck.
